In October of 1998 we became a part of Ministers Fellowship International (MFI), located in Portland, Oregon. MFI exists to facilitate and nurture meaningful relationships among Christian leaders, to provide accountability, equipping and enabling them to be more effective in their callings, for the purpose of building and multiplying strong local churches around the world.
On Christmas Eve 2006, we became one church in two locations. (Fairburn and Peachtree City). The church continues to exist and prosper in both locations.
In May 2010 Pastors Rick and Susie retired after 32 years of ministry to Atlanta City Church.
In June 2011, Elders Gilbert and Mona Kelly were ordained as Senior Pastors. By the prompting of the Holy Spirit and the church described in Revelation 21:1-5, along with the agreement of the elders, Pastor Gilbert Kelly formally changed the church name to NEW CITY CHURCH.
